Located at the corner of Chestnut Street and Ivy Street in downtown Branford, Connecticut, the site serves as a transition between Main Street’s commercial activity and the adjacent residential neighborhood. To reflect this duality, the 4,000 SF building is divided into four volumes, reducing its scale and integrating it into the surroundings. The second story houses four apartments, with cathedral-ceiling living spaces anchoring each corner and quieter bedrooms positioned centrally along the north and south facades. The ground floor was designed as a flexible space, accommodating multiple entrances, and is now home to FuZion Medical Aesthetic Boutique.

Once the Chestnut Medical Building was complete, FuZion commissioned Patriquin Architects to design its interior spaces to align with its artful yet scientific approach to aesthetics. The layout includes a welcoming reception area with retail displays, leading to treatment and serenity rooms designed to balance privacy and natural light. Larger treatment rooms are positioned away from daylight, while smaller rooms, staff offices, and support areas benefit from strategic lighting placement. The result is a carefully curated environment that fosters both professionalism and tranquility.
